A Link car undergoing testing followed my bus down the Sodo Busway this morning. It almost made me cry.
Would it make you jealous if I said that I already rode on LINK? It was awesome.
It would. A moving link car? I thought they were supposed to run 1,000 hours of operation time before anyone got to ride on them.
If you know some one inside, you van probably arrange a time.
ST 101 has over 3000 miles on it but since all the changes and performance enhancements they are redoing the burn in testing.
ST 101 had to get 2500 miles, ST 102 had to get 1500 miles, ST 103 has to get 1000 miles and the rest needs to get 750 miles but that is regardless of configuration (meaning, hours/miles can be done in multiple consist)
What if I know someone who knows someone inside?
Yeah it was a moving car. We drove around the O&M facility. I think they need that amount before they are allowed to use them for service.
