I’d keep trying with the cabs. I suspect things might quiet down a bit at dispatch later tonight. The other option would be to call one of the town car services.

I’m trying to figure out how I get to the airport tomorrow. I don’t want to drive in this mess (with at least some amount of new snow expected overnight), Shuttle Express is not taking new reservations, the regular Shuttle is not even taking phone calls, and all I get is a busy signal for a cab.

If I do make it to Sea-Tac, its either going to be extremely crowded, or the lightest day of the year…

Rick Sheridan of SDOT was on KOMO 1000 radio talking about 21 trucks clearing the main arterials.

A KING 5 TV camera crew is here at the SDOT TMC. They set up a microwave relay shooting out the window of the 37th floor to the north.

BTW heard the surface streets in Downtown Bellevue are FUBAR around the transit center.

I’m at the SDOT Traffic Management Center and asked them about the twitter feed. They have no idea who’s doing this. Martin, how did you find out about the twitter feed?
