I don't know whether the driver was supposed to or not, but we detoured off I-5 at route 900/MLK, crossed over the railroad tracks and proceeded north on airport way. This detour avoided a pretty ugly traffic jam, and we got the tour of georgetown and sodo, eventually re-joining the route at Spokane st. and on top of all that, the bus wasn't late.
