With the streetcar in place and ready to ride tomorrow and all the talk of upzoning SLU, this David Brewster opinion piece makes a lot of sense.
Anyone going to ride the streetcar tomorrow? The opening ceremony is at 11:30 near Westlake Mall.

I’m definitely planning to go, even though I don’t live in Seattle. I’ve been excited about this for some time.
I’ll be there around 1pm after work =)
I’m going during lunch.
i’ll be there for the ceremony
i’ll be there…
I am definitely going to be riding it today. I don’t know that I will be able to escape work for the ceremony, but we are part of the ceremony along the line. Should be fun, there is coffee/espresso outside that they are setting up. You can also see the science research done here too! Pretty cool. It sucks that I actually have to work though.
Sadly I’m missing it because I work in the middle of nowhere :(
Bicycles are planning a protest!
