Both Roosevelt and Brooklyn Stations have reached the 30% design stage and will have a new round of public meetings. Sound Transit will hold an open house for Roosevelt on May 26th, 6 pm at the Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center. The 30% design Open House for Brooklyn Station will occur June 9th, 6pm, at the Hotel Deca. We reported on the last Brooklyn meeting (and the followup) earlier this year.

it’s nice to know that!!
I wonder if the Roosevelt meeting will have lots of TOD comments on both sides, even though it’ll have nothing to do with that…
Given that the Northgate meeting had a number of people asking “can’t you just move the station N miles that way?” I suspect the comments will be all over the place.
Incidentally, if anyone can’t make the meeting but has a question they want answered, let me know and I’ll do my best. If it’s of general interest, it’ll probably make the write-up.
I wonder if ST would be able to buy out that deli on the corner of Brooklyn and 45th, and open the north entrance of Brooklyn Station to the entire corner.
I believe you’re talking about a business that is part of the soon-to-be-revamped Neptune Theater. So…no.
Darn near anything is better than a lousy bus stop!
