I would like to see a transit cooridor that includes: South Center (area), South Seattle, Beacon Hill, First Hill, Capital Hill, U-District. This cooridor could include MLK or I-5 to Beacon Avenue South, to 12th Avenue, then to 23rd to the U-District. What I see when compared to transit options coming from the north into central Seattle is that the south is underserved. Yes there is the light rail. BUT it has to go through downtown (as do the buses) AND it doesn’t and won’t go to First Hill (a high density residential and employee) area. A real loss and poor planning. Can we please change the current system and provide more crosstown transit (from the south) and leave downtown out of it.
