I meant to post this sooner but at certain Tully’s Coffee locations, you can get 10% off your next drink when you show your bus pass, including Orca.

I only took advantage of this lovely offer at the King Street Center location where I picked up my Orca card.

Any other transit perks you all are aware of?

  1. we need more of this for transit riders. hell you can even get 10% off on amtrak with aaa. wtf, amtrak giving a discount to members of an auto lobby!?!?!

      1. WHAT!

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.

I HAVE GONE ON 5 TRIPS SINCE I GOT MY FLEXPASS LAST YEAR.

        YOU

        WHA

        Sigh, overpaying again.

    1. Circa 1990, King County Metro had a program called “Pass Savers”; anyone who had a monthly, 3-month, or annual pass got discounts at quite a few places around town. In fact, there were so many discounts that a booklet was publsihed listing all of them. By the time I returned to Seattle in 1995, the program had been discontinued.

  2. How about we make it so that ORCA is accepted at Starbuck’s and Tully’s and they always give us 10% off!

    1. They should make ORCA usable at the little concession stand at REnton TC and places like that!

  3. Seattle isn’t a big coffee town, though– can’t we have a discount on something folks here really like, like margaritas?

  4. Any other transit perks you all are aware of?

Not having to bring cash for bus fare, not having to buy gas, and the other obvious benefits :)

    1. What about having less stress, being safer, burning less hydrocarbons, feeling a part of my community? I could go on, but I would be preaching to the choir.
