[UPDATE: I believe a couple of the YouTube labels were switched, but this post now has the clips in the proper order.]
Great City has posted Jarrett Walker’s talk last Thursday on Youtube. He already cautions that this talk is no longer exactly what he would say, as his thoughts continue to evolve.

Who is Jarrett Walker?
Click on “Human Transit” in the right sidebar. He’s a transit planning consultant from Portland who’s now based in Australia, but he has consulted for many North American cities including Seattle. He has a number of provocative and well-thought ideas for improving transit, which are best found in his blog.
Is the presentation available as it is hard to see in the video.
His most recent blog post says, “So far, I’ve resisted calls to put the Powerpoint slides on the web because my slides are usually a visual counterpoint to what I’m saying, not just a summary of it, so I don’t like them getting detached from my narration of them. But at the very least, I will post a final version of the slides with notes containing the gist of what I said, after the Vancouver event.”
This talk is so utterly fantastic! Really wish I hadn’t been out of town that day.
Thank you so much for posting this! I’ve been following Human Transit for a while now and it’s great to actually hear the man.
