Awesome! Thanks.
In this month’s WA Assn of Rail Passenger’s newsletter, there was an update on the Eastside Corridor. KC Council Member Julia Patterson has proposed a trail-only bond issue. Also, I’ve noticed that the Cascade Bike Club has been actively seeking to have the rails ripped up immediately.
This corridor is critical to the transit future of the region. And it exists already! No ROW issues. No NIMBYs. It could be up and running in a year.
Let’s take a stand for a regional project that will serve the region, will take cars off the road, and can be implemented immediately.
We need to save the Eastside Corridor.
It’s going to be interesting to see what GNP can put together on the Snohomish portion of the BSNF right of way.
