BART has one in the Bay Area. You earn points toward bart passes with each dollar you spend. Here’s the press release.
Would you use a King County Metro or Sound Transit Credit Card?

I would, though I’d rather have a card that just gave cash. But it would be cool to have a metro bus card.
I would probably use one, although first I would price it against cash back cards.
Better than air miles…
The BART card does cash-back too. So it’s either cash back or discountd bart tickets.
Let’s focus our efforts on getting ORCA out first, shall we? :) :)
Why, of course I would like to have a credit card, which would endlessly scheme to raise my interest rate to 28% on some pretext or other. After all, my bank card has racked up a giant $5.28 in ‘points’ over the past year, and that’s worth at least a couple of bus rides somewhere.
/sarcasm. I think a transit agency would be very unwise to associate itself with the credit card industry at this time.
Only if I could use it on the bus.
Credit cards are the devil! I wouldn’t apply for one. I am fine with my Flexpass. I am still paying for my stupid mistakes in college that were all because the card was associated with something I was passionate about. Mmmm…No Thanks!
If I could use an ORCA card as a refillable cash card just like my Husky card, surely yes. But please don’t turn it into a credit card.
Nope; I don’t like credit cards. Now, if you managed it as a debit card, I might be interested. Especially if it was also an ORCA.
If you use a credit card the right way then you don’t have to pay any interest, so there is no one to blame but yourself.
I would love to have a credit card that actually gave me something useful like transit rides, and because I don’t leave an ending balance on my credit card they would be free.
