Here’s the bus chick on streetfilms.
It’s a cool story, and it’s nice to see Seattle that way. I guess I’m not as hardcore as the Bus Chick: Hinano hasn’t even been on a bus yet, though after landing in Narita, she’s been on her first trip on a train.

These Videos (this and the blue scholars video) make Seattle seem much more urban than it really is.
I love that story. Its such a romantic story about people hooking up on the bus. Wish my bus hookups were that romantic.
I used to have a lot of romantic bus hook-ups, but I guess that depends on your definition of “romance”.
That sounds naughtier than I meant it to be. I haven’t married anyone I met on the bus is what I meant, though I met Tamami in a BART station, so that’s pretty close.
Carla is a great spokesperson for the carfree lifestyle even if that’s not her goal. I loved her statement that “everybody doesn’t have to follow the same path.” How true!! I think sometimes riding transit is presented as this “good thing” to do, like it’s a big sacrifice to make but maybe you should. Really the thing that gets people is when they ride the bus and find it works, whether to give someone more face time with their chicklet :) or to save the stress of traffic or to save money or even to make a commute faster. Cool video, thanks for sharing!
